Astral Travel

Some see as simply when the astral body separates from the physical body and floats off "into space" this could include only the space in our room; or extend into "outer space" or "other worlds".

Some define these "worlds", or "Planes of existence" as highly stratified, levels, or "heavens" each on top of the other; (that's where seventh heaven came from) with different sort of occupants at each level. Others there are numerous "Heavens" extending into the far reaches of our Universe and the Galaxies beyond (THEOSOPHY). For still others the "spiritual world" is with us all the time; and is another dimension on this Planet. And in that dimension we Co-exist with others (generally, invisable entities) who occupy the same time and Space; as we do.

Some believe we can communicate with the beings, and they with us; and so gain knowledge and insight. With the help of Spirits or Guides we can travel into these myriad worlds,

Others follow the tradition that through the cycles of death and re-birth; human beings can progress through these levels and ultimately attain the "perfect state of Being." But that; this process can be aided by achieving "spiritual enlightenment, while in the Earthly plane.
